It is a way of bringing any shape of object in to life. There are many different softwares used in digital sculpting. Some of these are enumerated below:
- ZBrush - most popular digital sculpting program. It offers the worlds most advanced tools, Its price is around 795 USD
- Mudbox - biggest competitor of ZBrush and owned by Autodesk. Its price is 10USD/month or 80USD/year
- Meshmixer - free 3D-sculpting based CAD program by Autodesk and a beginner-friendly application
- 3D Coat - has a super powerful texturing, UV mapping, and painting tools. It is by Pilgway and its price is from 99USD (amateurs) to 379USD (professionals)
- Sculptris - a free digital sculpting tool by Pixologic. This shows the basic of ZBrush since the latter is also created by the same company.
- Blender - a free tool which workflow is similar to ZBrush and Mudbox.
